Covid-19 Mutual Aid UK

Covid-19 Mutual Aid UK is a group of volunteers that aims to support groups in local communities. They are focused on providing resources and connecting people to their nearest local groups, willing volunteers and those in need. Link.

Med Supply Drive UK

An organisation that has been created to help with the PPE crisis in response to increasing COVID-19 cases. Includes links to US and UK initiatives. Link.

National Health Supporters

‘National Health Supporters’ is an initiative created to link known networks of students across the country with NHS staff. The aim is for students to help alleviate pressures on staff including, but not exclusive to: babysitting; grocery shopping; and pet sitting. Link.

Public Health Coalition

In the US, the Public Health Coalition created a scheme with the goal of helping displaced students serve from home, alleviating the existing burden on the healthcare system, combining resources, supporting medical workers, and promoting the exchange of ideas. Link.

Feed the Workers

A group of London workers and final year medical students have created an initiative called ‘Feed the Workers’ in which they partner up with local restaurants and delivery drivers to provide food for the NHS. Link.

HealthSHIP

Astudent-led initiative, ‘HealthSHIP’ is aimed at supporting health and social care staff with everyday tasks from caring responsibilities to grocery shopping. Link.
